Ballroom/Latin dance demostration followed by dance class

This is one of our more popular offerings for large corporate events. We provide a demonstration followed by a dance class for the attendees/delegates.

Please note that the below is just an example. We are very experienced in creating bespoke events specifically designed to meet your timings and requirements.

Sample Ballroom Dance Event

Duration: 1 hour 20 mins
Attendees: 100 - 350
Dance Teachers: 2 to 6+

Two of our lead teachers will head up the event and will lead the instruction from a stage or other raised platform. Depending on numbers and budget, the lead teachers can come with additional competitive Ballroom/Latin American dancing couples for the evening.

Dance Demonstration: Approx 20 mins

Each couple will perform a number latin or ballroom dances, and (provided there are facilities available) change costume 2 or 3 times. The couples will be introduced professionally and a brief explanation of each dance they are about to perform will be provided for the guests.

Ballroom Dance Workshop: Approx 1 hour

Following the demonstration of approximately 20 minutes, the lead teachers will conduct the instruction part of the evening for the remaining hour. The other dance couples will be there to mingle with the attendees and provide assistance where necessary.

Note: Should the dancefloor be too small to accommodate the number of guests wishing to take part in the instruction (approximately 1 metre square per couple would be required), we are able to provide a Merengue instruction, which guests would be able to learn while standing up around their tables. Obviously this is something we would discuss with the venue and/or you.

Add in a Competition Element

If you have couples who'd be up for competing against each other then we can add in a competition. We can take each couple away for the duration of the main lesson and give them a private lesson with their own teacher (or teachers). They will then come back in and perform what they've learnt in front of everyone else. You can have a panel of judges to give their feedback (the judges can be participants from your business and/or include our teachers), or the whole crowd can vote. Up to you. We can supply a pre-arranged prize/trophy, or you can, it's up to you. [Note: extra teachers may be required to run this, or you can have less teachers in the main room - this will be discussed with you]
